1. Be respectful
Treat participants, mentors, organizers, sponsors and volunteers with kindness. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation and personal attacks are not acceptable.
2. Make space for everyone
Listen actively, respect different viewpoints, give constructive feedback and help newcomers feel included. Healthy debate is welcome; disrespect is not.
3. Collaborate ethically
Respect intellectual property, licenses, privacy and the work of others. Disclose reused code, third-party assets and external tools according to event rules.
4. Keep the event safe
Follow organizer instructions and venue policies. Do not share another person's private information or access accounts without permission.
5. Report concerns
Contact the organizing team at hello@codedecode.in with relevant details so concerns can be reviewed.
6. Consequences
Organizers may issue a warning or remove a person from an activity or event when conduct violates these guidelines.
7. Review before launch
This is a starter policy. The organizing team should review it, add an official reporting contact and publish a final version before registration opens.
